Driver fails to yield right of way, dies in St. Augustine crash
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – A 63-year-old man driving in a roundabout lost his life because he did not yield to oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle and then two palm trees Monday.
This crash happened on Silverleaf Parkway near State Road 16, according to Action News Jax. Despite wearing his seatbelt, he died from his injuries at the scene.
The other driver wore their seatbelt. However, it is unclear if they were injured.
