Driver fatally hits pedestrian along G.T Bray Park in Bradenton

BRADENTON, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed when they were struck by a vehicle in the 3100 block of 59th Street West along G.T Bray Park Monday. 

ABC Action News said this collision took place around 6:45 p.m. The driver remained at the scene. No charges or citations were reported. At this time, Bradenton police have not disclosed the victim’s name. 

Police shut down 59th Street West (between 29th Avenue West and 34th Avenue West) to accommodate the investigation and scene clearance process.
