Driver fatally hits pedestrian near Eastwood Golf Course in Ft. Myers

FORT MYERS, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a collision adjacent to the Eastwood Golf Course Saturday night. 

NBC-2 said this collision happened in the area of Ortiz Avenue and Colonial Boulevard. Fort Myers shut down the area to aid with the investigation and scene clearance process. 

The exact details leading up to this collision have not been disclosed. In addition, authorities did not say if the driver would face charges or citations.
