Driver flees scene after fatally hitting pedestrian in Orlando
ORLANDO, FL – A hit-and-run driver was responsible for striking a pedestrian in the Gotha area, leading to the walker’s death Sunday.
This crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. as the pedestrian, a woman was crossing Colonial Drive adjacent to Good Homes Road, according to Click Orlando.
Upon arrival, first responders rushed the woman to a hospital, where she later passed away.
While Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the circumstances behind Sunday’s wreck, they do believe the suspect was operating a BMW 3 series model (320i, 320i X, 328d, or 328d X), a possible 2015 to 2017 model with damage to the front right or left headlights.
