Driver killed in crash at Jacksonville intersection

JACKSONVILLE, FL – A driver of a white Dodge passed away after they hit the side of a black Genesis while turning left at an intersection Friday.

This collision occurred at the northbound San Jose Boulevard and Venture Place junction, according to First Coast News. First responders took the Dodge motorist to a hospital, where they later died.

Officials shut down all northbound lanes and one southbound lane to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process.

It is not immediately clear if the driver of the black Genesis sustained injuries or will face charges or citations.
