Driver loses life as trash truck hits wall at Golden Ocala Golf Club
ORLANDO, FL – A driver of a trash truck succumbed to fatal wounds after slamming into a concrete wall at Golden Ocala Golf Club Tuesday.
Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene, the area of Northwest 77th Avenue Road and Northwest 70th Avenue, after 9 a.m., according to FOX 35 Orlando.
The trash truck had gone inside the wall, which required extrication from fire crews.
Firefighters were able to extricate the man. However, he lost his life despite their best efforts.
