Driver makes U-turn, fatally hits motorcyclist in Pasco Co.
PASCO COUNTY, FL – A car driver made a U-turn at State Road 54 and struck a motorcycle, leading the motorcyclist to die from his injuries Friday.
WTSP said this collision happened after 3:30 p.m. as the car driver, a 53-year-old man from Wesley Chapel drove west on SR 54, and the motorcyclist, a 49-year-old man from Sneads, was going east on SR 54 when they collided.
Upon arrival, first responders took the motorcyclist to a local hospital, where he passed away.
Florida Highway Patrol, who is investigating this collision, did not confirm if the car driver will face charges or citations.
