Driver, passenger injured after colliding with Tampa home

TAMPA, FL – A 17-year-old teenage passenger and the driver, an 80-year-old man, were hospitalized after crashing into a home Sunday.

The collision occurred around 10:45 a.m. at West Peninsular Street & North Poplar Avenue, WTSP reported.

It is unclear what led the 80-year-old man to drive through the home and if anyone was inside the house at the time of the collision.

The driver and passenger sustained minor injuries.
