Driver strikes cyclist, crashes into Miami car dealership
MIAMI, FL – A driver worried when he saw he struck a cyclist and ended up hitting vehicles at the Braman Motors dealership Tuesday.
NBC Miami said the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at Biscayne Boulevard, where the dealership is located.
Miami Police said the driver, an elderly man, was spooked when he hit the bicyclist. He was overcome with such concern that he put the car in reverse and struck three cars along the dealership before crashing into the vehicles on display at the Braman establishment.
The force of the collision left the cyclist hospitalized with severe injuries while the driver was unharmed.
In addition, no one inside the dealership was hurt.
Impairment did not play a role in this collision.
