Driver unharmed in Miramar semi rollover
MIRAMAR, FL – A driver of a tractor-trailer was able to escape any sustained injuries after their semi-truck overturned and spilled fuel and construction materials on Friday.
This collision took place on the Florida Turnpike extension ramp, according to WSVN. Following this wreck, Florida Highway Patrol and Miramar fire crews shut down all the northbound lanes.
Drivers in the area can pass the collision by driving on the shoulder. At this moment in time, they are being rerouted to University Drive and 27th Avenue so that crews can clear the scene.
While the debris has not been officially removed from the site, officials were able to get the truck back onto its wheels and are preparing to tow it away.
No other occupants aside from the driver were said to have been involved.
