Drivers fatally strike male cyclist in St. Pete
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A cyclist, a 57-year-old man, was struck by two on-coming vehicles, causing him to fall off his bicycle and then succumb to fatal wounds Thursday.
Florida Highway Patrol told WTSP that this collision happened at the intersection of eastbound Gandy Boulevard and Brighton Bay Boulevard.
FHP declared the cyclist, a St. Pete local, dead at the scene and confirmed the drivers were unharmed.
