Driver’s life claimed in fiery crash with tree in Iona
IONA, FL – A driver of a car had lost control of their car, leading them to drift off the road and crash into a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire and claim their life Tuesday.
This solo wreck took place after 11 p.m. in the area of Summerlin Road Service Road and John Morris Road, according to NBC-2.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and has not shared the contributing factors behind Tuesday’s crash, nor have they released the victim’s name.
