Eight other people were injured in addition to the little girl who died after she was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center following the early morning crash that occurred last April. The teenager was reportedly driving on a suspended license and speeding alongside his teenage girlfriend who was driving another car when their vehicles collided. The impact of the crash pushed the teenager’s car into a third vehicle, an SUV, and caused it to roll over several times. The little girl who died was inside the SUV along with her five family members.

- Why drinking and driving don’t mix. This one applies even if you think your teenager would never experiment with alcohol or drugs. Teenagers can be unpredictable.
- The importance of regular maintenance which includes everything from scheduled oil changes to checking fluids and paying attention if a tire has low pressure.
- The fact that in the event of an accident, he or she should call 9-1-1 before doing anything else, even calling you.
