Failure to negotiate curve leads to deadly Orlando motorcycle wreck
ORLANDO, FL – A motorcyclist failed to negotiate a curve on SR-408, leading them to veer off the road and strike a guard rail on Friday, resulting in their death.
Florida Highway Patrol also told WESH that based on information from an eyewitness, the motorcyclist was supposedly speeding and “rapidly changing lanes” before East Colonial Drive along mile marker 23.
Troopers said they pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene after arriving at 1:30 p.m. and closed all of the eastbound lanes for their investigation and to accommodate the scene clearance process.
