Female car passenger, 55, fatally hit by another driver in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A 55-year-old woman, a passenger traveling in a 2022 Hyundai Tucson, lost her life when a 2005 Nissan Sentra hit the side of the Hyundai Thursday.
This collision happened around 10:15 p.m., WTSP reports. It is believed that the impact of Hurricane Milton, which caused numerous traffic lights to go out and therefore reducing visibility at night, could have played a role in this crash.
While the woman succumbed to fatal wounds at the collision site, her driver, a 35-year-old man, was spared from physical harm. The Nissan driver, on the other hand, was hospitalized for serious wounds.
WTSP’s initial report indicates that another person was injured in the crash, but no other information was made available.
Any new details that come to light will be added once new developments surface.
