Female passenger, 71, killed in South Fort Myers left-turn crash
SOUTH FORT MYERS, FL – A driver of a sedan turned left in front of a truck and then collided with it, leading the sedan passenger, a 71-year-old woman, to pass away Thursday.
This two-vehicle collision took place before 4 p.m. on southbound Metro Parkway, according to NBC-2. First responders rushed the 71-year-old woman to a hospital, where she died.
Florida Highway Patrol started an investigation and has not specified if anyone will be cited or charged for their involvement in this crash.
