Female walkers seriously hurt in New Year’s Day hit-and-run in Naples

NAPLES, FL – A 47-year-old woman experiencing cancer and her mother took a walk on New Year’s Day when they were hit by a driver who fled the scene and suffered injuries as a result.

This hit-and-run happened on Texas Avenue, and the suspect, believed to have driven a blue Buick, was allegedly speeding when they went over the sidewalk and struck the two ladies, WINK News said.
