FHP arrests 2 people following North Fort Myers pursuit-crash
NORTH FORT MYERS, FL – Florida Highway Patrol arrested a driver and a passenger who tried to flee from police and then crashed into a wooded area Monday.
Troopers told NBC-2 that they tried to conduct a traffic stop when they spotted a sedan driving dangerously. The driver did not stop and, thus, started the chase, leading them to eventually crash their car off I-75 South near mile marker 148.
Florida Highway Patrol said no one was injured in this collision.
