FHP investigates Fort Myers hit-and-run crash with pole

FORT MYERS, FL – A driver lost control of a vehicle and crashed into a pole on the 5100 block of Neal Road Tuesday. 

The person traveled off course, and drove into a ditch, which caused the vehicle to overturn, NBC-2 reported. 

Officials said the driver fled the scene on foot. 

The collision is under investigation.
