FHP patrol car involved in Hiwassee crash
ORLANDO, FL – Florida Highway Patrol is currently at the scene of a crash in the Hiwassee district that involved a trooper’s patrol car.
Troopers were summoned to the North Hiawassee Road and Almena Street intersection around 5:38 p.m. and said they arrived at the collision site at 6:08 p.m.
While no lanes are currently blocked, drivers are advised to proceed with caution and encouraged to find alternative routes as crews work to clean up the debris from the crash and as troopers pursue an ongoing investigation.
