Fiery crash in Manatee Co. claims lives of 3 people

MANATEE COUNTY, FL – A driver and two passengers passed away following a fiery solo collision on I-275 South leading to I-75 South Wednesday.

The occupants’ pickup truck caught on fire after crashing into a utility pole, reported after 3:15 a.m., according to Fox 13 News.

Traffic was at a standstill for several hours so crews could clear the scene and so Florida Highway Patrol could focus on their investigation.
