Fire crews summoned to fiery North Fort Myers collision
NORTH FORT MYERS, FL – Fire crews were dispatched to a fiery collision that came about after a trailer collided with a van, leading the van to catch fire Tuesday.
NBC-2 said this collision happened before 8:15 a.m. at the southbound U.S. 41 and Evergreen Road junction. Crews and other first responders shut down two lanes to put out the fire and for the crash investigation.
It is not immediately clear if the van driver was hurt, although the source did say that paramedics were examining them for injuries.
