Fire crews work 2 hours to put out fire on boat along Miami River
MIAMI, FL – After two hours, Miami Fire Rescue crews were finally able to extinguish all the flames coming from a Vision F2 Yacht at Merrill-Stevens Yachts Sales Sunday.
Miami Fire Rescue crews said they arrived at the scene, the area of Northwest 12th Avenue and 11th Street near the Miami River, around 11:15 a.m. They told WSVN it took longer to put out the fire due to some expensive materials that are more flammable.
Fire crews have not stated the cause of the fire but did say no one was on board the boat at the time of the incident, and they were also able to save some boats nearby from catching on fire.
