Five Pedestrians Hurt In Fort Lauderdale Car Crash
Five pedestrians in Fort Lauderdale were recently hurt after a car drove onto the sidewalk and ran through a group of people. The accident took place around 3 am near the 200 block of Southwest Second Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Witnesses report the driver went onto the sidewalk at a high rate of speed, striking the victims before hitting a tree. No fatalities were reported in the crash. Among the injured were two brothers visiting the area from Canada.
The driver was taken away in handcuffs, according to reports. It is uncertain whether alcohol was a factor in the crash or not.
