FMPD seizes vehicles responsible for fatal Palm Beach Blvd. hit-and-run
FORT MYERS, FL – The Fort Myers Police Department has seized a white pickup truck and dark-colored SUV, two vehicles believed to be connected to a deadly hit-and-run Monday.
To recap, this crash happened in the east and westbound lanes of Palm Beach. The suspects of the impounded vehicles are both accused of striking and fatally injuring a pedestrian. NBC-2 initially reported the SUV to be maroon in color but later confirmed that the vehicle is actually black.
Local police have not clarified whether they have also apprehended the suspects. No pending citations or charges against these drivers have been reported. Officials have also not disclosed the deceased person’s name.
