Girl, 13, critically hurt in Tampa bicycle-police car crash
TAMPA, UT – A Tampa Police officer hit a 13-year-old girl riding a bicycle, leading her to fall off her bike and suffer critical injuries Wednesday.
This collision occurred before 7:45 p.m. at the North 22nd Street and East Busch Boulevard intersection, ABC Action News reported.
The Tampa Police officer immediately exited her vehicle and contacted Tampa fire crews and officers. Together, they provided her with first aid before she was sent to the local hospital for a head injury and a broken leg.
