Girl, 3, seriously hurt in 2-vehicle crash in Duette
DUETTE, FL – A two-vehicle wreck on State Road 62 had resulted in a 3-year-old girl being sent to a hospital for serious injuries Saturday.
According to ABC Action News, a pickup truck driver — a 36-year-old woman — had lost control of her vehicle and drifted out of the westbound lanes before returning to the road and colliding with a car driven by a 77-year-old man.
The impact caused the woman to strike a pole before the 3-year-old girl with her was ejected.
The girl’s condition is unknown, nor is it certain if impairment, distracted driving, or speed contributed to this collision.
Updates will be provided should they become available.
