Head-on SUV wreck in Miami claims 1 life, sends 3 to hospital

MIAMI, FL – A driver of a Nissan SUV lost his life after he collided head-on with a Toyota SUV, which also sent three of the Toyota passengers to a hospital Thursday. 

This collision happened around 6 a.m. on Krome Avenue when the Nissan driver went from the southbound lanes into the northbound ones, according to NBC Miami.

The three Toyota passengers were transported to Jackson South Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition. 

Florida Highway Patrol had to close Krome completely not just for the investigation process but for the scene clearance procedure as well.
