Head-on wreck in Collier Co. claims life of 34-year-old woman
COLLIER COUNTY, FL – A 34-year-old woman operating a black SUV drove north on SR 29 South, leading her to collide head-on with a gray Ford pickup truck, resulting in her death.
This collision happened after 7 p.m. Thursday. Florida Highway Patrol told NBC-2 that the woman died from her injuries at the scene, while first responders took her two children — 8 and 10 —to a hospital for serious wounds. They also transported other occupants to an area medical facility for treatment of minor wounds.
