Hit-and-run crash claims pedestrian’s life in West Little River
MIAMI, FL – A driver fatally struck a man crossing the street in the West Little River district, and fled the scene before 4 a.m. Thursday.
The collision happened near the Northwest 32nd Avenue and Northwest 103rd Street intersection, Local 10 reported.
Police said the suspect’s vehicle is a four-door, dark-colored sedan with significant damage to the windshield and front end.
The pedestrian – 36-year-old Felix Benitez – was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where he died.
