Hit-and-run driver fatally strikes cyclist on Causeway Blvd.
TAMPA, FL – A person operating a 2016-2019 Honda Civic was responsible for fatally striking a cyclist on the 2600 block of Causeway Boulevard and fleeing the scene Monday.
Tampa Police said the collision occurred anytime between 12 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and confirmed that the cyclist was a white man who rode a blue “Huffy” bicycle, which, along with several pieces of debris, was found at the scene.
Police have not provided a description of the suspect, but they did confirm that the Honda Civic should have a damaged headlight and side marker located on the front end passenger side.
