Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures ATV rider in Lehigh Acres
LEHIGH ACRES, FL – An ATV rider was injured when a 33-year-old woman hit him and then fled the scene Sunday, NBC-2 revealed.
This collision occurred along Harvest Avenue within proximity to Grafton Street. The ATV rider was only identified as a 27-year-old man who goes by his nickname “Bambino.” Officials have not released his full name or stated his current condition.
The woman has been identified as Amber Tremblay.
Footage showed that Tremblay was wearing a bright pink bikini and was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Florida Highway Patrol said she reached for something inside her black Dodge Charger before entering another vehicle and fleeing the scene.
Troopers said Tremblay was also responsible for another hit-and-run collision that happened at the Bell Boulevard and Meadow Road junction. Tremblay had allegedly tried to enter a taco food truck. Someone had kicked her out, and she then fled the scene, driving with a suspended license.
Tremblay has yet to be caught. But once she’s found, she will probably face three felony charges.
Anyone who has more information about this wreck or Trembaly’s whereabouts is advised to contact troopers at the phone number listed in the initial source.
Updates will be posted as they become available.
