Hit-and-run suspect arrested after 4-auto wreck in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A driver struck three other vehicles on North Dale Mabry and tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by police Monday.
ABC Action News said this collision happened before 6:30 p.m. near I-275. Tampa Police booked the suspect into custody and indicated they tried to take the suspect’s dog to a safe environment.
Police also said no serious wounds were reported. They launched an investigation and have not provided further commentary at this time.
At the time of reporting, the northbound lanes were still closed.
