Hit-and-run suspect sought in Miami crash that killed farmer
MIAMI, FL – As of Monday, Miami-Dade County officials are continuing to look for the suspect responsible for fatally striking a farmer, a 46-year-old man, on Monday, Nov.11.
Local10 said this wreck happened before 6 a.m. in the area of Southwest 194th Avenue and Southwest 208th Street, along Costa Color Young Plants.
New details show that the suspect, driving a 2022 silver Ford F-250 with an attached orange Kubota front loader and a black trailer (reported as stolen), hit the farmer while he was on a scooter. The scooter rider, identified as Alexis Muñoz, immediately passed away, and the suspect had fled the scene and entered a different pickup truck, a red Ford F-150 pickup truck, without rendering aid or reporting this crash.
Miami-Dade officials identified the suspect as Zeniel Francisco Cabrera Talavera and currently believe a second person was involved. However, as it stands, there is no probable cause for arresting Cabrera Talaver.
Anyone with more information on the involved vehicles or Cabrera Talavera is asked to contact the Miami-Dade Police Department at the phone number listed in the source. Information that leads to an arrest will be bestowed a $5,000 reward.
