JSO deputy seriously hurt in I-95 multi-auto wreck
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A driver of a car stopped completely in a center lane on I-95, causing a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office deputy to hit that car and a semi-truck and suffer severe injuries.
Prior to the crash, reported around 10 p.m. Monday in the southbound lanes, the civilian driver of the car was attempting to pass the semi-truck, according to Action News Jax. Upon arrival, first responders transported the officer to a hospital and confirmed no other occupants were harmed.
