JSO investigates hit-and-run in West Jacksonville

WEST JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances behind a hit-and-run crash reported before 6 p.m. in the Allendale area.

Deputies received a call at 5:47 p.m. to head to Edgewood Avenue North and Tabernacle Lane. They have not provided a formal statement regarding the suspect and their vehicle, said if anyone was injured or hospitalized, or listed any lane closures to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation.
