LCSO investigates collision at San Carlos Island

SAN CARLOS ISLAND, FL – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is currently at the Prescott Street and San Carlos Boulevard intersection investigating the details behind a crash.

Deputies arrived at the scene, which is south of the San Carlos RV Park & Islands, after 6 p.m. Since the investigation is in the preliminary stages, they have not been able to say with certainty what caused Wednesday’s collision.
