LCSO investigates Lehigh Acres auto-pedestrian accident
LEHIGH ACRES, FL – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances behind what led to a crash between a vehicle and pedestrian Friday afternoon.
NBC-2 said this crash happened at the Lee Boulevard and Homestead Road intersection. Deputies have closed the eastbound lanes for their investigation and scene clearance process.
Florida Highway Patrol has also been summoned to the scene but has not arrived yet. It is unclear if they will take the lead on this investigation.
No other information, including whether anyone was injured, has been disclosed.
