Left-turn attempt on Pembroke Road prompts fatal crash

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – A crash turned fatal when a driver tried to turn left on a southbound off-ramp on Pembroke Road and hit a curb before crashing into a sign around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

NBC Miami said the force of this collision caused the vehicle to spin counterclockwise and left the driver, a 22-year-old man from Dania City, with serious injuries and claimed the life of the passenger, a 25-year-old woman from Hallandale Beach.

The crash is under investigation by The Florida Highway Patrol.
