Left-turn crash in Dade City claims woman’s life
DADE CITY, FL – A woman driving a Kia Forte passed away after colliding with a semi-truck while pursuing a left turn amid a yellow light at eastbound SR-52 and Prospect Road Tuesday.
This collision happened before 5:30 p.m. while the driver of the truck was going west, according to ABC Action News.
Florida Highway Patrol, who responded to the scene, said the woman, 38, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene, while EMS took the woman’s children, girls aged 13, 14, and 16, along with the truck driver, to a hospital for serious injuries.
