Left-turn crash in Ocala claims man’s life, critically hurts woman
OCALA, FL – A 43-year-old man died, and an 81-year-old woman was critically injured after a left-turn crash at Northwest 60th Avenue and US Highway 27 Wednesday.
Florida Highway Patrol told Click Orlando that around 8:15 p.m., the woman, an Ocala resident driving an SUV, was trying to turn left on NW 60th from US 27 when she collided with the man’s sedan.
As a result, the man, a Gainesville resident, passed away at the scene, and the woman was sent to a hospital.
Additional details show that the man was not wearing a seatbelt.
