Left turn crash in Odessa claims motorcyclist’s life
ODESSA, FL – A 51-year-old man operating a motorcycle lost his life after crashing into a trash truck turning left onto Monmouth Drive from State Road 54 Monday.
Florida Highway Patrol told WFLA that the 51-year-old man from Lutz died at the scene, while the trash truck driver, a 35-year-old man from Spring Hill, was unharmed.
FHP closed State Road 54 East for the time being before reopening it.
