Left-turn crash in Orlando kills 77-year-old woman
ORLANDO, FL – A crash near the North Mira Boulevard and University Boulevard junction claimed the life of a 77-year-old woman Sunday, Click Orlando indicated.
Florida Highway Patrol said a driver of a Subaru WRX was driving west on University Boulevard, when the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu – the 77-year-old woman – turned left on eastbound University Boulevard, prompting the crash.
The Malibu vehicle sustained some front-end damage, and the 77-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
First responders transported the Subaru driver – a 19-year-old man – to a hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries.
