Male motorcyclist, 19, passes away in rear-end wreck in Clearwater
CLEARWATER, FL – A 19-year-old man operating a motorcycle lost his life after rear-ending a car on the Courtney Campbell Causeway East last Friday.
Clearwater police told the Tampa Bay Times that they suspect the motorcyclist was operating his bike at a high speed when he crashed into the car around 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, Clearwater fire crews took the motorcyclist to Mease Countryside Hospital, where he later passed away.
Officials have since identified the man as Ramon Castro Jr., a Tampa resident, but did not release the name of the driver.
