Male pedestrian, 81, fatally hit by driver in Bradenton
BRADENTON, FL – An 81-year-old man was crossing the southbound lanes of 13th Street West when he was hit and fatally injured by a vehicle on Monday.
The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. along 8th Avenue West, according to Fox 13 News. Bradenton Police rushed the male pedestrian to Blake Hospital, where he later passed away.
While an investigation remains in progress, police have been able to confirm that the pedestrian was not using a crosswalk and have indicated that the motorist remained at the scene.
