Male pedestrian, 83, fatally struck by car in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – An 83-year-old man was trying to walk across Sunshine Skyway Lane South and was hit by a car, resulting in his death Sunday. 

This collision happened around 7:45 a.m. ABC Action News said the man was struck by a blue Honda CRV. After arriving, first responders took the pedestrian — 83-year-old Danilo Aguero Tamayo — to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. There, he passed away from his injuries. 

No other information is available.
