Male pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle at Tampa junction

TAMPA, FL – A man crossing East Busch Boulevard and North 50th Street was hit by a vehicle and then rushed to a hospital where he later died Sunday.

This crash happened before 8:30 a.m. WTSP said. It is unclear if the driver will be charged at this time.

Police shut down the intersection for two hours and then reopened around 10:30 a.m.

An investigation has begun. No other information has been made available at this time.
