Man, 19, dies after Oldsmar motorcycle, truck crash
OLDSMAR, FL – A 19-year-old man’s life was claimed in a pickup truck and motorcycle crash along Oldsmar Sports Complex Tuesday.
The collision took place before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Tampa Road and East Lake Woodlands Parkway, FOX 13 News revealed.
The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado truck turned left onto East Lake, and a motorcyclist crashed into the truck’s passenger side.
The force of the crash caused the motorcyclist, 19-year-old Connor Holmes, to be thrown from his vehicle.
Holmes was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The truck driver was unharmed.
Police did not indicate pending charges, but they did say that speed may have played a role in the collision.
