Man, 24, hospitalized after Bonita Springs hit-and-run crash
BONITA SPRINGS, FL – A cyclist was critically injured after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver Thursday.
The collision happened on the eastbound lanes of Dean Street near Harold Street, NBC-2 reported. A driver of what officials believe to be a Mercedes Class C sedan, an older model, hit the back of the man on the bike.
The impact caused the cyclist to fall from the bicycle. The 24-year-old man was taken to a hospital for his injuries.
