Man, 32, dead after Clearwater hit-and-run crash
CLEARWATER, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning, WFLA reported.
The collision occurred around 5 a.m. in the area of Sunset Point Road between Kings Highway and Highland Avenue. The driver hit the pedestrian and fled the scene.
Officials speculate the vehicle involved was a truck or an SUV. The pedestrian, 32-year-old Kelvin Solomon, was taken to a hospital in St. Petersburg, where he later died.
